The fog had returned to Lamoine State Park this morning, not an unusual condition on the Maine coast, but it was dissipating by the time we left.
It was a sunny drive to Belfast on US-1where we then went west to Augusta and the on the Interstates for an increasingly cloudy and crowded drive to Boston and home. With just one coffee stop, we made it in time for lunch, missing the summer Friday afternoon traffic out of the city.
After we spent most of the afternoon unloading Speedy, we declared this adventure finished. It wasn't exactly the trip we had planned, but I'm there will be another adventure soon.
