The Fog Lifts Eventually

Our second day at Fundy National Park started out foggy and our section of the campground filled overnight including one of the ex-military expedition vehicle conversions; the ones with tires as tall as Ellen.

We spent a lazy morning with breakfast and nice hot showers in the sparkling new wash houses. Our walk down to the Point Wolfe beach was uneventful although part of it seemed to be walking down a stream. The tide was out and the fog was still hanging around so no water was in sight.

After lunch we all piled into the new Revel for a trip tp Alma, the small town across the bridge from the visitor center. The fog gas lifted and the tide was in. After a stroll up and down the main street, we finally stopped in the bakery and bought cookies and a sticky bun. The cookies were for dessert and the sticky bun was for me.

They are evidently a favorite at the bakery as the record, as posted on the wall, was over 10,000 sold in a weekend. It was a good plain sticky bun, but my favorite is the restaurant in Teslin, Yukon. Theirs were nutty and great.

We stopped at the covered bridge on the way back to take a look and take photos.

Dinner was Salmon burgers out on the picnic table, with peanut butter  chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
