Time for a short journal entry.
We spent a bit of the morning birding around the park. Not a lot of birds, but we had Pine Grosbeaks, a Black and White Warbler and a Swamp Sparrow.
The rest of the morning was spent doing laundry and cleaning Speedy. Both were needed.
The afternoon was just being lazy. Ellen worked on photos, so there will be some posted when we get somewhere with WiFi. We also spent time doing a rough plan of our reverse trip.
Tomorrow, we’ll drive down to the northern section of Gros Morne NP and spend the night, then it will be time to head east...even if the weather might be a bit soggy over there. We might try to get to Twillingate on Wednesday, probably staying at Dildo Run Provincial Park, then on to the northest capes, Freer and Bonavista, looking for more icebergs and seabirds. We would spend more time up here, but we don’t want to take a chance at missing the Puffins and other nesting seabirds...they start leaving soon as nesting season is coming to an end.
