It's time once again—Time to get Speedy back on the road.

It is almost time for a summer trip in Speedy. We hope to be off next week and will be heading West again, visting a great selection of National Parks. We are going back to Glacier and Grand Teton National Parks, bringing a tandem kayak this time in order to add some paddling to our hiking.

We will be stopping at Theodore Roosevelt NP on the way to Glacier and then on to Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Rocky Mountain National Parks after Grand Teton. We haven't been either one of these before.

After that the intent is to go a bit more westward, back to Capitol Reef (the orchards should have some ripe fruit this time) and then to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, another new experience. We hope to meet up with our friends, Harry & Sally, somewhere along here.

After the Grand Canyon, we expect to head back east, stopping at Chaco Canyon in New Mexico, where we haven't been since the '90s...and where we've never camped. Then it will be back home, possibly stopping at either Great Smoky Mountain NP or Shenandoah NP (or both) on the way.

All of this is just tentative so you'll have to keep reading to see what really happens.
