It is almost time

A short note—we are almost ready to leave, all but the computers, perishables and bicycles have be loaded onto Speedy, but it is 10PM and it is raining, so we are done for the evening.


Hopefully, the rain will abate by tomorrow morning and we will be able to finish the loading without tracking mud all over the clean van. We expect to be on our way by mid-morning, next stop probably somewhere in New York or Pennsylvania.

I've also been working on trying make The Speedy Journal available via Google+, Facebook and Twitter. I'm not a real "social media" fan, but it seems that more and more of our real friends and relatives use these services. We don't expect to be interacting heavily through any of them, except to post our location and Speedy Journal links. We'll see how it works...if it works at all.
