We made it home. The last two days of travel were just highways. After crossing the Mississippi, it was via interstates all the way home. It was I-80 until it merged with I-90 and then I-90 through Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and, finally, the Mass Pike to Route 128.
We spent the last night at a Flying-J truck stop in Ohio, not far from the Pennsylvania border. Dinner at Denny's was unremarkable. The next morning, it was a fill-up and then 600+ miles to Cohasset.
The only notable event on the last legs of the trip was Speedy's odometer reached 100,000 miles in Chicopee, as we were zipping along the turnpike.
Now it is time to give it a good cleaning, an oil change and it will be ready to be off again when the spirit moves us.
